(November 30, 2007: Sugar Land, TX 77459) The Hightower Hurricanes (Sugar Land, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX), 72-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hurricanes (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Memorial topped Crosby (Crosby, TX), 65-45, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellaire for a non-league test on Saturday, December 1. Lufkin will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 69-32 non-league win over Longview (Longview, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
