Oregon High School Basketball - Estacada can't hold off Seaside
(January 13, 2012: Seaside, OR 97138) The Seaside Seagulls basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Estacada Rangers to 45 in the Seagulls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Seagulls now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banks for a 4A Cowapa contest on Tuesday, January 17. Seaside will meet a Braves team coming off a 41-38 non-league loss to Taft (Lincoln City, OR). The Braves record now stands at 2-10.
The Rangers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Huskies enter the 4A Tri-Valley contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, North Marion was nudged by Cascade (Turner, OR), 57-45, in a non-league contest.
