California High School Basketball - Westlake holds off Calabasas

(February 6, 2008: Westlake Village, CA 91362) Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Warriors travel to Moorpark (Moorpark, CA) to play the Musketeers in a Marmonte bout on Friday, February 8. The Musketeers go into the bout with a record of 11-14. Moorpark lost 53-50 in their recent league bout against Agoura (Agoura, CA)

Next up, the Coyotes play the Agoura Chargers (Agoura, CA) in a Marmonte bout, on Friday, February 8. Calabasas will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 53-50 league win over Moorpark (Moorpark, CA).
