Florida High School Basketball - Auburndale falls to Lake Gibson

Lake Gibson Braves basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting
Auburndale Bloodhounds to 45 in the Braves league triumph on Monday.
The Braves now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host
Liberty for a
5A District 6 contest on Thursday, January 15.
Lake Gibson will confront a team coming off a
51-28 league win over
Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL). The record now stands at 7-8.
The Bloodhounds (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against
Jenkins (Lakeland, FL). The Eagles enter the
5A District 6 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest,
Jenkins was defeated by
Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL),
64-46, in a league contest.
