(January 14, 2012: Anaheim, CA 92807) In Saturday's non-league outing, the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA), by a margin of 65-62.

The Comanches (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against El Modena (Orange, CA). The Vanguards go into the Century outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, El Modena was tipped by Brea Olinda (Brea, CA), 52-46, in a league outing.

The Oilers now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Ocean View for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16. Huntington Beach will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 74-33 league win over Loara (Anaheim, CA). The Seahawks record now stands at 14-3.
