(December 30, 2011: Torrance, CA 90504) The Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) basketball nudged the host North Saxons (Torrance, CA), 51-46 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Vikings now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Golden Valley for a Foothill contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Saxons (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Mira Costa nudged Coronado (Henderson, NV), 45-30, in a non-league contest.
