Arizona High School Basketball - Mohave trounces Gila Ridge

(January 10, 2012: Bullhead City, AZ 86442) The Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), 58-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Thunderbirds (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Lake Havasu walloped Yuma (Yuma, AZ), 73-60, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fairfax for a II Section III test on Wednesday, January 11. Gila Ridge will clash with a Stampede squad coming off a 48-33 non-league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Stampede record now stands at 15-3.
