New York High School Volleyball - Holy Child over New York School for the Deaf

(October 7, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY) volleyball were winner over the visiting New York School for the Deaf Tornadoes (White Plains, NY), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Holy Child betters its record to 5-5 on the year. The Gryphons host Convent of the Sacred Heart (New York, NY) to face the Cardinals in a Fairchester outing on Wednesday, October 8. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Convent of the Sacred Heart lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against King & Low-Heywood Thomas (Stamford, CT)

The Tornadoes now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to King & Low-Heywood Thomas for a Fairchester outing on Wednesday, October 15. New York School for the Deaf will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Christian Heritage (Trumbull, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 13-0.
