Pennsylvania High School Football - Calvary Christian Academy felled by Bristol

(October 3, 2008: Bristol, PA 19007) The Calvary Christian Academy Cougars football team (Philadelphia, PA), was knocked off 27-3 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bristol Warriors (Bristol, PA)

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, North Schuylkill knocked off Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 35-20, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenkintown for a Bicentennial challenge on Friday, October 10. Calvary Christian Academy will meet a Drakes team coming off a 44-22 non-league loss to Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Drakes record now stands at 5-1.
