(January 10, 2012: Canadian, TX 79014) The Canadian Wildcats routed the visiting Stratford Elks basketball team by a final score of 67-34 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Gruver Greyhounds (Gruver, TX) in a 1A-1 Region I District 1 game, on Friday, January 13. Canadian will attempt to move on its 17-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the battle with a 16-1 record after their 50-15 league win over West Texas (Stinnett, TX).
The Elks (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Booker (Booker, TX). The Kiowas come into the 1A-1 Region I District 1 battle with a 8-8 record.
