(January 6, 2012: Keller, TX 76248) The Keller Central Chargers basketball team (Keller, TX), was nudged 48-46 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX)

The Dragons now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Carroll will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 67-42 league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 6-14.

The Chargers (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Northwest was nudged by Coppell (Coppell, TX), 47-46, in a league battle.
