(January 4, 2012: Portland, OR 97220) Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) and the host Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR), saw Sunset's basketball squad knock off Parkrose by a score of 57-37.

With the victory, Sunset improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Apollos host North Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-12. North Salem lost 72-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR)

Next up, the Broncos play the Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon challenge, on Friday, January 6. Parkrose will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR).
