(January 20, 2012: Sandy, OR 97055) In Friday's league outing, the Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) basketball squad beat the visiting Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR), by a count of 69-49.

The Pioneers (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Bowmen go into the 5A Northwest Oregon outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Sherwood was topped by Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR), 72-55, in a league outing.

The Broncos now hold a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts for a 5A Northwest Oregon outing on Tuesday, January 24. Parkrose will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-55 league win over Sherwood (Sherwood, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-7.
