North Carolina High School Basketball - Hillside crushes E.E. Smith
(December 17, 2011: Durham, NC 27707) Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC), 67-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hillside upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Jordan (Durham, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a 4A PAC 6 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Jordan lost 68-64 in their recent league bout against Southern (Durham, NC)
Next up, the Golden Bulls encounter the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. E.E. Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 71-61 non-league win over E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
