Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge tipped by Nature Coast Tech

(December 30, 2008: Brooksville, FL 34604) The Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting River Ridge Knights /Royal to 48 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sharks now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springstead for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 31. Nature Coast Tech will confront a Eagles team coming off a 47-27 non-league win over Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-0.

The Knights /Royal (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats enter the 5A District 7 bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Wesley Chapel was edged by St. Petersburg Catholic (St. Petersburg, FL), 60-47, in a non-league bout.
