Texas High School Basketball - Cy-Woods tipped by Cypress Lakes

(January 20, 2012: Katy, TX 77449) The Cypress Lakes Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cy-Woods Wildcats to 62 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 15-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langham Creek for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Cypress Lakes will confront a Lobos team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 19-8.

The Wildcats (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, Cypress Ranch nudged Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX), 47-39, in a league contest.
