California High School Football - Mojave topped by Mammoth

(October 5, 2007: Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546) The Mojave Mustangs football team (Mojave, CA), was beaten 30-20 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA)

The Huskies (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Silver Valley (Yermo, CA). The Trojans come into the Desert Mountain challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Silver Valley was beaten by Desert (Edwards AFB, CA), 40-16, in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kern Valley for a High Desert challenge on Friday, October 12. Mojave will confront a Broncs team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Bellarmine-Jefferson (Burbank, CA). The Broncs record now stands at 2-3.
