Arizona High School Basketball - Willow Canyon thwarts North Canyon

(January 31, 2012: Surprise, AZ 85374) The Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) basketball felled the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 51-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (6-17) will now prepare for their test against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions go into the non-league test with a 5-19 record. In their last test, Shadow Ridge went down by Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 61-16, in a league test.

The Rattlers now own a 1-20 record. They take the field next when they host Pinnacle for a I Section III test on Thursday, February 2. North Canyon will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Pioneers record now stands at 20-4.
