Missouri High School Basketball - St. Louis Christian Academy can't hold off Vashon

(December 28, 2011: St. Louis, MO 63106) The Vashon Wolverines basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting St. Louis Christian Academy Cougars to 63 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Vashon will meet a team coming off a 73-51 non-league win over Confluence Prep Academy (St. Louis, MO). The record now stands at 6-1.

The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (St. Louis, MO). The Roughriders enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt was nudged by Gateway Tech (St. Louis, MO), 65-42, in a league contest.
