(October 5, 2007: Wadesboro, NC 28170) In Friday's league match, the host Anson Bearcats football squad scored a good 36-14 victory over the Porter Ridge Pirates.
In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont match, on Friday, October 12. Anson will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Spiders enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 40-10 league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
