(October 10, 2008: Hartford, CT 06114) The Bulkeley Bulldogs football team (Hartford, CT), was beaten 27-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT)

The Beavers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Chieftans come into the Central Connecticut - West challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Conard was beaten by Southington (Southington, CT), 35-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Platt for a Central Connecticut - South challenge on Friday, October 17. Bulkeley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Smith (Storrs, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
