(December 30, 2011: Brea, CA 92821) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the College Park Cavaliers (The Woodlands, TX) and the host Brea Olinda Wildcats (Brea, CA), saw College Park's basketball squad hold off Brea Olinda by a count of 70-66.

With the victory, College Park upgrades its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Kingwood (Kingwood, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Kingwood lost 54-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Langham Creek (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) in a Century challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Brea Olinda will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 65-54 non-league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA).
