South Dakota High School Basketball - Roosevelt falls to Yankton
(January 17, 2012: Sioux Falls, SD 57106) The Yankton Bucks/Gazelles basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 46 in the Bucks/Gazelles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bucks/Gazelles now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rapid City Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21.
The Rough Riders (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights enter the AA District 1 contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, O'Gorman ran past Worthington (Worthington, MN), 59-45, in a non-league contest.
