(February 7, 2012: Gardena, CA 90249) Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Serra advances its record to 22-3 on the season.

The Vikings now own a 21-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop Amat for a Del Rey test on Thursday, February 9. St. Bernard will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 58-53 league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 16-10.
