Texas High School Basketball - Everman can't hold off Burleson

(February 3, 2012: Everman, TX 76140) The Burleson Elks basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Everman Bulldogs to 32 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.

With the victory, Burleson upgrades its record to 18-13 on the campaign. The Elks host Seguin (Arlington, TX) to play the Cougars in a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 21-8. Seguin lost 61-53 in their recent league bout against Granbury (Granbury, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Everman will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 29-3 record after their 54-21 league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX).
