Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Pointe thwarts McClintock

(January 18, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85044) The Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) basketball felled the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), 83-63 in Wednesday's league test.

The Pride (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Hamilton went down by Perry (Gilbert, AZ), 56-54, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Vista for a I Section III test on Tuesday, January 24. McClintock will clash with a Thunder squad coming off a 66-60 non-league win over Chandler (Chandler, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 16-7.
