Texas High School Basketball - Morton Ranch succumbs to Strake Jesuit
(January 31, 2012: Katy, TX 77449) The Strake Jesuit Crusaders topped the host Morton Ranch Mavericks basketball team by a final score of 71-62 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 game, on Friday, February 3. Strake Jesuit will attempt to move on its 21-3 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 7-23 record after their 56-30 league loss to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX).
With the defeat, Morton Ranch moves to 8-18 on the year. The Mavericks host Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 19 game on Friday, February 3. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 15-13. Cinco Ranch lost 46-45 in their recent league game against Katy Taylor (Katy, TX)
