Washington High School Basketball - Liberty falls to Bellevue
(January 28, 2012: Bellevue, WA 98004) The Bellevue Wolverines basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Liberty Patriots to 42 in the Wolverines league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Si for a 2A/3A KingCo contest on Tuesday, January 31. Bellevue will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 49-39 league win over Interlake (Bellevue, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-12.
The Patriots (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA). The Kangaroos enter the 2A/3A KingCo contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Lake Washington ran past Bellevue (Bellevue, WA), 54-46, in a league contest.
