Kansas High School Basketball - Lyndon nips Wabaunsee

(January 31, 2012: Alma, KS 66401) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lyndon Tigers (Lyndon, KS) and the host Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), saw Lyndon's basketball squad hold off Wabaunsee by a score of 44-41.

With the victory, Lyndon improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Olpe (Olpe, KS) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. Olpe won 52-20 in their recent league challenge against Hartford (Hartford, KS)

Next up, the Chargers battle the Rossville Bulldogs (Rossville, KS) in a Mid-East challenge, on Friday, February 3. Wabaunsee will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 48-25 league win over St. Marys (St. Marys, KS).
