Florida High School Baseball - Aquinas Institute can't hold off Naples

(April 22, 2009: Naples, FL 34102) The Naples Golden Eagles baseball team scored 8 points and limited the visiting Aquinas Institute Little Irish to 7 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.



The Little Irish (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 11-14 record. In their last match, Bishop Verot was edged by Collier (Naples, FL), 12-9, in a non-league match.
Scoring Summary

Great game they put alot of PSI on us the last the 2innings Oliver diving catch 4th Jaskson made a great play at 3rd to in the 6th and Scott made agreat play to in the game. Griffin in releaf of Patton was sound with 4 Ks over 1 2/3lp. Big day by Fieger 2 HR 3 RBIs, Cox 3/3 and Delks 2b was big at the plate. That completed our reg. season with 25 wins and no losses great job!
