(November 15, 2007: Eunice, LA 70535) The Welsh Greyhounds basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Eunice Bobcats to 52 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Arthur for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 17. Welsh will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.

The Bobcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Pine Prairie nudged St. Edmund (Eunice, LA), 58-38, in a non-league contest.
