Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Ridge topped by Williams Field
(January 13, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85212) The Williams Field Black Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Desert Ridge Jaguars to 31 in the Black Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Black Hawks now sport a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Queen Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Williams Field will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 38-29 league win over Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
With the defeat, Desert Ridge moves to 2-17 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Dobson (Mesa, AZ) to confront the Mustangs in a I Section II match on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 15-6. Dobson lost 73-59 in their recent league match against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)
