Arizona High School Basketball - Dobson prevails Red Mountain

(January 10, 2012: Mesa, AZ 85202) Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), 63-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Dobson upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ) to encounter the Lions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Alhambra lost 54-27 in their recent league bout against North (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Mountain Lions encounter the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Red Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 72-57 league loss to Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ).
