(January 6, 2012: Strawn, TX 76475) Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), 47-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Graford upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rabbits travel to Newcastle (Newcastle, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a 1A-2 Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Newcastle won 58-25 in their recent league bout against Bryson (Bryson, TX)

Next up, the Greyhounds encounter the Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX) in a 1A-2 Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Strawn will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record.
