Game Summary
North Carolina High School Football - Scotland held off by Richmond

(October 19, 2007: Laurinburg, NC 28352) In Friday's league game, the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) football team tipped the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), by a score of 30-27.

The Raiders (9-0) will now prepare for their game against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons come into the Mid-Southeastern game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Seventy-First got by Westover (Fayetteville, NC), 29-7, in a league game.

The Fighting Scots now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoke County for a Mid-Southeastern game on Friday, October 26. Scotland will battle a Bucks team coming off a 28-27 league loss to Byrd (Fayetteville, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 3-6.
