North Carolina High School Basketball - E.E. Smith topped by Pine Forest

(January 24, 2012: Fayetteville, NC 28301) The Pine Forest Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host E.E. Smith Golden Bulls to 51 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 19-1 record. They play next when they host Cape Fear for a 4A Mid-South contest on Friday, January 27. Pine Forest will meet a Colts team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 4-15.

The Golden Bulls (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Mid-South contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Terry Sanford beat South View (Hope Mills, NC), 56-47, in a league match.
