First Quarter Summary:
The Bishop McLaughlin Hurricanes hosted Seffner Christian Academy and honored the seniors on the last regular home game of the season. The Hurricanes offense applied consistent pressure and the first half was played mostly in the Seffner defensive end. Maramara and C. Bexley clicked twice for the Hurricanes with Maramara scoring twice off of two Bexley assists. The first half ended with a Bishop McLaughlin lead of 2-0.

Second Quarter Summary:
The second half was highly competitive with Seffner consistently challenging for the ball and the Hurricanes appearing lethargic and tentative. A Hurricane miscue in their defensive end resulted in Seffner's Lopez getting off a weak shot. The Hurricane Keeper, Gard, recovering from a positioning error, appeared to have the ball stopped. However, Gard failed to handle the ball cleanly and the ball crossed the goal line for a Seffner score. Another costly miscue resulted in a steal deep in the Hurricane defensive zone by Seffner's Mollenhauer. Mollenhauer took a touch inside the eighteen and shot it wide to the right of the Hurricane keeper, who was unable to catch up with the ball before it crossed the goal line. The game ended with the score knotted at 2-2.
