New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Joseph trounces Perth Amboy
(January 5, 2012: Metuchen, NJ 08840) The St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Perth Amboy Panthers (Perth Amboy, NJ), 64-30 in Thursday's league test.
The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Seton Hall Prep walloped East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ), 56-43, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Perth Amboy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-36 league loss to Cardinal McCarrick (South Amboy, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 1-5.
