Washington High School Basketball - Sammamish overwhelmed by Lake Washington

(January 25, 2012: Kirkland, WA 98033) The Lake Washington Kangaroos basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Sammamish Totems to 31 in the Kangaroos league victory on Wednesday.

The Kangaroos now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Bellevue for a 2A/3A KingCo contest on Friday, January 27. Lake Washington will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 55-35 league win over Interlake (Bellevue, WA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-7.

With the defeat, Sammamish moves to 3-12 on the year. The Totems travel to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A/3A KingCo match on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-8. Mount Si lost 42-28 in their recent league match against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)
