California High School Soccer - Cathedral knocks off St. Genevieve

(December 10, 2011: Los Angeles, CA 90012) The Cathedral Phantoms soccer team scored 7 points and limited the visiting St. Genevieve Valiants to 1 in the Phantoms non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Phantoms face the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 14. Cathedral will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA).

The Valiants now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Clarita Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. St. Genevieve will face a Cardinals team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
