(December 9, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85737) Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ), 63-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Canyon del Oro upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Dorados travel to Cholla (Tucson, AZ) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Lions encounter the Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
