(January 12, 2012: Las Vegas, NV 89109) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), saw Valley's basketball squad knock off Canyon Springs by a score of 75-62.

With the victory, Valley improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Eldorado (Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Sundevils in a Sunrise - Northeast challenge on Friday, January 20. The Sundevils come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Eldorado won 69-41 in their recent league challenge against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Pioneers battle the Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV) in a Sunrise - Northeast challenge, on Friday, January 20. Canyon Springs will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 63-33 league win over Rancho (Las Vegas, NV).
