Louisiana High School Basketball - Fairview can't hold off South Beauregard

(November 17, 2007: Longville, LA 70652) The South Beauregard Knights basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting Fairview Panthers to 89 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league contest on Monday, November 19. South Beauregard will meet a Gators team coming off a 73-63 non-league win over Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Gators record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, East Beauregard was nudged by Plainview (Glenmora, LA), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
