Connecticut High School Basketball - Watertown routs Derby

(January 6, 2012: Derby, CT 06418) In Friday's league outing, the Watertown Indians (Watertown, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), by a margin of 52-12.

The Indians (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Crosby was trounced by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 51-42, in a non-league outing.

The Red Raiders now own a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Derby will encounter a Hearts squad coming off a 43-40 league loss to Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Hearts record now stands at 5-4.
