Arizona High School Basketball - Central falls to Westview

(January 4, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85012) The Westview Knights basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Central Bobcats to 43 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salpointe Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Westview will meet a Lancers team coming off a 69-55 league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 9-2.

The Bobcats (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hayden (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons enter the I Section I contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Hayden was defeated by Chandler (Chandler, AZ), 77-47, in a non-league contest.
