(September 27, 2008: West Nyack, NY 10994) The Lewis Patriots held off the host Clarkstown South Vikings volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Townsend Harris for a PSAL Queens - A 6 test on Monday, October 6. Lewis will confront a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 league win over Queens Teaching (Bellrose, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their test against River Dell (Oradell, NJ). The Golden Hawks enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
