(January 28, 2009: San Jose, CA 95132) Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA), 63-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Piedmont Hills upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Pirates host Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to encounter the Saints in a Mount Hamilton bout on Friday, January 30. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Santa Teresa won 59-52 in their recent league challenge against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Royals play the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) in a Mount Hamilton challenge, on Friday, January 30. Overfelt will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 49-41 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
