(December 30, 2011: Portland, OR 97201) The Woodinville Falcons (Woodinville, WA) basketball nipped the host St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR), 56-50 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Falcons (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Wolves go into the 4A KingCo outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Eastlake nipped ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO), 46-36, in a non-league outing.

The Blues now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gresham for a 6A Mt. Hood outing on Tuesday, January 3. St. Mary's Academy will encounter a Gophers squad coming off a 49-28 non-league loss to Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Gophers record now stands at 4-5.
