Texas High School Basketball - DeRidder can't hold off Alvin

Alvin Yellowjackets basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting
DeRidder Dragons to 48 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to
Lakeview Centennial for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29.
Alvin will meet a Patriots team coming off a
71-58 non-league win over
Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 5-11.
The Dragons (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against
Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest,
Red River was nudged by
Parkway (Bossier City, LA),
57-54, in a non-league contest.
