California High School Basketball - Fountain Valley prevails Ocean View

(January 7, 2012: Huntington Beach, CA 92647) Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA), 41-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fountain Valley upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Barons travel to Edison (Huntington Beach, CA) to play the Chargers in a Sunset bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. Edison won 55-18 in their recent league bout against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA) in a Golden West bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Ocean View will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 50-31 non-league win over Godinez (Santa Ana, CA).
